CASA MIA is located in the ‘Old Town’ of Almuñécar, only a 200 m walk to the charming shopping streets, restaurants and the beach. This holiday home is in a great location to experience traditional Spanish living with the interior having been very tastefully decorated with a great balance of Scandinavian and Andalusian styles.
The holiday home is designed as most town houses are over 3 floors, with a final external staircase to the roof terrace. It´s from here that the most stunning views can be seen. And although a traditional town house, the interior is rather spacious. An ideal location to enjoy the seaside/beach holiday or to use as an exploring base to nearby other touristic destinations such as Granada, Sierra Nevada, Alpujarras or the nearby Nerja and Frigiliana.
From the historic street of Angustias Moderna, you enter the house into the reception area. Within the reception area is a flat screen television, sofas and a through the house music system. The lounge also houses an under stairs toilet and wash hand basin. Walking through to the bottom floor single bedroom you pass the beautiful and spacious shower room. The bedroom external door leads to the first terrace. A 20m2 dining/relaxing area with great views of the town and the sea.
The first flight of stairs leads to the 1st double bedroom, the main shower room and the large double bedroom. The double bedroom has a full-length window, offering beautiful town and sea views. All 3 bedrooms are air conditioned.
The 2nd internal stairwell leads to the top floor kitchen and dining area. Again, offering fantastic views. The kitchen is fully equipped to ensure that you have every utensil you require for a self-catering holiday. The spacious top floor dining area is a unique feature of the holiday home, beautifully designed and decorated to provide the tranquillo ambience expected in an Andalusian town house.
A stroll to another of the outside terraces, houses the external staircase to the roof top terrace. From here, you get the most spectacular views from the house. You get 360o views of the mountains, the town and the sea. An ideal location for outdoor al fresco eating, utilising the gas BBQ and the different seating positions available.
Almuñécar is an attractive coastal resort town, with an interesting history and culture that is present everywhere. It is particularly popular in the summer with Spanish holiday makers. The beautiful seafront promenade is divided into many sections by the small coves and headlands that are typical of this part of the Costa Tropical. There are also several longer beaches, all with great facilities making them perfect for families. The beaches are easy to access and the closest is within a 200m walking distance from the holiday home. The mountains are very close perfect for hiking and Sierra Nevada is only 1h. away where it is popular to go skiing in the wintertime.
