If you come here during the winter you do not want to sit still. Beautiful weather with a pleasant temperature means that many are active. The most common is to walk on Paseon in Almuñécar which is 6 km long and on Paseon in La Herradura which is 2 km long. You do not have to carry a lunch bag, because here there are plenty of bars and restaurants. And fresh air and sun. What more could you ask for. Maybe just something to drink and a lose. Tapa means lid and is a small plate with something to eat for the ordered drink. Coming down here does not mean that you should be on the play all day.
Boule is very popular and a great way to make new friends. A social sport. Every Wednesday and Sunday at 11.00 o’clock in March, we play boules at the goal posts on the play below Chinasol. Throw out one of your 3 bouquets and Erik will split into teams. Boule is played in many other places as well.
Walk and hike a little farther, into the city center, the old town or up in the mountains, all or 6 km flat boardwalk with lots of bars and toilets.
